Cancellation Policy

Fairy Craft Events Cancellation Policy We understand that plans can sometimes change. As a small event styling and prop-hire business, every booking means we reserve your date, allocate equipment and plan preparation time specifically for your event. For this reason, the following cancellation terms apply. Booking Fee A booking fee is required to secure your event date and confirm your booking. Your date and hire items are not reserved until the required booking payment has been received. If you choose to cancel your booking, any amount retained by Fairy Craft Events will be reasonable and reflect costs and losses incurred as a result of the cancellation, in accordance with applicable consumer law. UK government guidance states that cancellation charges should represent a genuine estimate of the business's direct loss. Customer Cancellations If you need to cancel, please notify us in writing as soon as possible. Depending on how close the cancellation is to your event date, cancellation charges may apply to cover costs already incurred, preparation undertaken, loss of bookings and items or services that cannot reasonably be re-hired. Where we are able to re-hire the cancelled equipment or otherwise reduce our loss, this will be taken into consideration when calculating any cancellation charge or refund due. This reflects CMA guidance that businesses should take reasonable steps to reduce cancellation losses. Bespoke & Personalised Items Any personalised, custom-made or specially ordered items that have already entered production or have been purchased specifically for your event may be chargeable in full where those costs cannot reasonably be recovered. Changing Your Event Date If you would prefer to postpone rather than cancel, please contact us as soon as possible. We will always try to accommodate a change of date, subject to availability. Any items, services or pricing for the new date will be subject to availability and may need to be revised. Cancellation by Fairy Craft Events In the unlikely event that Fairy Craft Events has to cancel your booking and we are unable to provide the agreed services, payments relating to services we cannot provide will be refunded. Exceptional Circumstances We understand that genuine emergencies and unforeseen circumstances can happen. Where possible, we will work with you to find a fair and reasonable solution.
